Bohemian Flare

8.28.2016

Top: Thrifted | Flare Jeans Size 3X | Bag
I wish that I could find some of my high school pictures with me rocking my favorite bell bottoms of all times. I mean, I wore those things out! With my platform Soda tennis shoes, of course ;) These flare jeans from Love Lianca have definitely took the spot in my heart for my favorite. They are made so well, are the perfect length and fit me like a glove.

According to the Trend Spotter, "First introduced to fashion in the 70's, flares had another major moment in the late 90's, and are now back again in 2016.

Come back for real! And I love it. I decided to pair mine with an oversized button-up top that I thrifted a while back and it went together perfectly. I tied the top in the front for a fun cropped look and to fit my personal style better. I finished everything off with round retro shades, gold hoop earrings and a shoulder bag in a complimenting color.

Whether you decide to take a Boho approach, like I did, or a more modern take...you are for sure to turn heads!

Navy Baby

Dress | Heels | Backpack | Oversized Shirt/Duster: Thrifted | Hair: Save $10 - Code 120910
One color that, I can honestly say, I do not have enough of is navy blue. Which I am utterly confused about, because every recollection I have of wearing the rich color was a complete hit! So, when I saw this dress from Fierce and Kurvee Boutique, I jumped all over it. I loveee the flattering fit and am an ultimate fan of the midi length. I paired the dress with camel colored accessories for a sophisticated and nautical feel.

One option, which I tried, is pairing a complimenting duster, jacket or oversized shirt with your dress. I lucked up and found this one while thrifting. This print is everything! And matched the dress perfectly. Hands down, this pairing is definitely one of my favorites so far this year ;)

Hey boo’s! Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend as we head back to the grind. My weekend was pretty good. I just chilled with friends and family and ate plenty of great food that was in total violation to my diet lol. But hey, YOLO right? Lol. For this outfit of the day, I decided to try a funky, retro-type look with a printed top that I got from the thrift store. The print is pretty old school, but I loved the colors and blocks of leopard. So, for $1… I thought what the heck…why not?? I decided to pair the top with my red skinny jeans, black cut out heels and white shoulder bag w/a clasp, which was also thrifted. This look is certainly not my everyday style, but I love to mix it up. That’s the great thing about fashion, it can make you feel like you are in a different era, brighten your mood or express YOU better than words can.  The list goes on and on…

Have fun with it!
Much love,
Tiff

Get More.

Dress: Fashion Ave | Skinnies: Rainbow | Clutch & Heels: Thrifted

Hey Ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend as we head back to the hustle this Monday! Well, I  just wanted to create a quick post showing you how you could GET MORE out of YOUR closet! I saw this idea from Crystal of Bold Style Diary and was so inspired that I had to try this myself! So, I took the burnt orange Peplum dress that I wore for my friends wedding and tucked the bottom into some skinny jeans. I thought that it would be all lumpy and obvious but it was actually very seamless and not noticeable at all! This was a great way to take a somewhat dressy ensemble and make it a little more casual. TIP: you could also use this same concept with dresses by turning them into skirts. Put a cute top on top of a maxidress or regular dress. You can even add a skinny belt to add more structure and to pull it all together. Getting creative with your closet and thinking outside the box will not only allow you to get more out of your closet but also put some ease on the wallet $$. Hope this helps boo's!

Much love,

Top: Lucky 21 | Skinnies: Rainbow | Scarf: Local Beauty Supply | Shoes: Thrifted | Bag: Ebay | Watch: LA Fashion District | Shades: Gifted

We are officially in Fall! Bring out the new trends, scarves, boots and coats! Even though it’s not exactly Fall weather in Cali…we are having some cooler days. This weekend I went to the La Brea Tar Pits with my fam and wanted to be casual, of course, but still wanted to look chic and cute for the pictures we were going to be taking. I decided to wear this Cherie Amour Chiffon Button Back Royal Blue Top w/zipper detail sent to me by Lucky 21. I loved it, not just because of the beautiful color and fit, but also because, even though its long sleeve, it’s nice and lightweight for this transitioning weather. I paired the top with some white skinnies, my favorite leopard scarf and some nude gladiator sandals I scored at the thrift store for $2 bucks! I loved the way everything came together and I am definitely excited for a new season of fashion…Fall here I come! What are you excited for this season?

Memorial Day.

5.29.2013

Top: Fashion Island | Shorts: Thrifted/DIY |Flats: Rainbow | Purse: Thrifted |Shades: Ebay

Ok ladies, so I am SO proud of myself! I had absolutely NOTHING to wear this Memorial Day. I really wanted to wear some shorts but I don’t own any because I can rarely find shorts that fit me the way that I want and that I feel are flattering. So all of a sudden I felt inspired to start a little DIY project and make my own distressed shorts! I pulled out some jeans that I thrifted for $1 and pulled up a Youtube video (good ole’ trusty Youtube) lol. 15 minutes and one wash later, I had the best shorts ever! They fit perfectly and I cut them right where I wanted them, that was most flattering to me. I paired it with a graphic tank top, oversized shades, and some cute flats. I kept my hair simple with loose waves and threw on a pink lip…and was set to go! Don’t sleep on the thrift yall! I have a feeling I will be shopping there all summer lol. I hope you had a great holiday! What did yall wear?

4.02.2013

Remember when we HAD to match everything head to toe? Lol. Everything HAD to be corrrrdinated…it’s amazing how style has evolved and fashion is full of being playful with mixing colors, prints, textures and patterns. I love the direction fashion is heading, but this night I decided to go back to the old school and match from head to toe...yep down to the eyeshadow! Lol. Just another log in my fashion journal as I experiment with past and present fashion trends. I wore this outfit out for a night on the town with my girl Ericka for comedy, drinks and sushi at the Geisha House in Hollywood. We had a ball! And, as I think about it, this outfit is actually another “Whole Fit From The Thrift” (I just realized that as I was typing lol) except for the Zara heels. I found the skinnies at goodwill for $2 and the patterned top and purse at the Quality Thrift. The top was $1 and I believe the clutch was $4. So yes, you’re looking at a $7 dollar outfit ;) So what do you think? Match, mix it up, or a little of both?

Much love,

Hey ladies! Hope all is fine and well with you! So...recently, I met up with one of my friends, Monet, for a little girl talk over lunch. We decided to meet at Sushi on Fire off 2nd street in Long Beach. When I say the sushi was bomb, it was BOMB lol. I decided to keep it low-key and casual with some dark blue skinnies, black tube top, gold accesories and thrifted nude cap-toe heels. I wore a scarf as a shaw to tie the whole look togeher. I always have so much fun catching up with my boo's...I swear girl talk is theraputic! lol

Much love,
