Remember when we HAD to match everything head to toe? Lol. Everything HAD to be corrrrdinated…it’s amazing how style has evolved and fashion is full of being playful with mixing colors, prints, textures and patterns. I love the direction fashion is heading, but this night I decided to go back to the old school and match from head to toe...yep down to the eyeshadow! Lol. Just another log in my fashion journal as I experiment with past and present fashion trends. I wore this outfit out for a night on the town with my girl Ericka for comedy, drinks and sushi at the Geisha House in Hollywood. We had a ball! And, as I think about it, this outfit is actually another “Whole Fit From The Thrift” (I just realized that as I was typing lol) except for the Zara heels. I found the skinnies at goodwill for $2 and the patterned top and purse at the Quality Thrift. The top was $1 and I believe the clutch was $4. So yes, you’re looking at a $7 dollar outfit ;) So what do you think? Match, mix it up, or a little of both?
Hey ladies! Hope everything is fine and well with you. The past couple of weeks have been SO hectic for me. And part of the craziness was my little brother getting married in like one week! So my family and I had to throw together the FASTEST wedding and bachelorette party in the world! Lol It was tight...but I’m happy to announce everything came together perfectly. For a night on the town and a little “entertainment” J I wore this knitted top that I found at the thrift store for like two dollars! It fell off the shoulders...which gave it a little sass and sexiness. I paired it with a amber colored tube top and white skinny jeans that I found at Rainbow. I had been looking for somewhite skinny jeans forever… so when I saw these for $18, I jumped on it IMMEDIATELY! Lol. I finished the look off with nude heels, simple gold hoops and a gold and leopard watch. For my face I kept my eyes fairly simple with a pink pout. Overall, I liked how it all came together. I felt comfy and sexy at the same time, which is the BEST combo in the world to me! Lol.
I absolutely LOVE being in the nude…colors that is! (hehe) I can’t help but to embrace the brown, nude, beige and gold family. Salmon, peach, coral and burnt orange come in at a very close second. I love these colors with my makeup, home décor and most of all clothing! This is why I am SO excited for the fall! I would consider this outfit of the night to be my first outfit of the season. I found these camel colored skinnies and sheer tan top at rainbow, and paired it with a leopard bra (for a little sexiness), simple gold accessories and nude heels. I felt great this night and I can’t wait to experiment some more with the colors of the season!
This was my favorite look of the summer because it combined my two favorite trends peplum and colorblocking. I felt fabulous and sexy this day!!!!

Hi I'm missneek. I love fashion but I can never seem to get more hits than misses... lol... So I just leave it to the professionals like you. :-) I like this look a lot because it was my first attempt at color blocking and even though it was very subtle,I got quite a few compliments that night. :-) thanks for listening!

Hi, my name is Ingrid. I wore this outfit to a birthday party. I love black but thought i could bring some life to the outfit with orange. I am a sz20- love my curves- nothing stops me from believing I deserve to be sexy, classy & confident. My mushroom haircut i copied from MaryJ a few years ago..still love it. The jacket and shorts I've had for awhile but never wore them together. Newest items are necklace H&M £4, bag- ASOS £8 and shoes £25 all sale items :) got to love summer sale!!! I hope u vote for me....teamcurvy & confident.
If I had to pick just 1 summer outfit, it would be this grapefruit colored dress, which I paired with a black&white color block blazer, black all stars, and gold accessories. I love this outfit because its a hint of sexy with the fitted dress showing legs, a hint of classy with the blazer, and a hint of playful with the tennis shoes. I wore it to a kid birthday party and a baby shower making it very functional!
This is my Favorite Summer Look. I ordered these shoes from ASOS and I had no idea what I would wear them with, but...I found something! Also, this is the day I volunteered with Khocolate Keepsakes; an organizations which supports children's literacy.

I don’t know about you…but it has been CRAZY hot where I live!! Generally, we have great weather…but this week, it’s been at least 90 during the day and somewhere in the mid 70’s during the night. I decided to take full advantage of the warm summer nights we’ve been having and had dinner outdoors right off the beach. The ambiance and cool ocean breeze couldn’t have been better. I decided to wear an abstract maxi dress accented with a bold statement necklace and simple armwear.
Kept my hair wavy and makeup simple. I don’t talk about makeup much but I have to tell you about the Iman felt tip eyeliner pen, I just purchased at Target. I swear I LOVE it, love it, love it! It gives me a perfect line every time…and for under $4 you can’t beat it! Anyhoo…I hope you ladies are fully enjoying and getting the most out of these last summer days, it’s going to be over before we know it!
Hey Ladies! So…this past weekend was pretty laid back for the most part, I just chilled out with fam and went to a house party with friends. Since this was a backyard shindig, I decided to keep it cute and simple. I went for my good ole' trusty stone washed jeans ( I swear I’m going to wear those things out) and a sheer collared top with lace details. I finished the look off with some heavy duty gold hoop earrings and comfortable nude heels. I really really wished I had a leopard bra in my life for a touch of sexy…but hey, sometimes you have to work with what you got :)
So this past weekend was quite non-stop as it was two of my friend's birthday weekend. So we did a little clubbin at the Savoy, ate a little dinner at Wokano's, did a photoshoot, had a turn-around trip to Wet Willies in San Diego, and capped it off with champagne and crab legs at the Reef. So yes, this weekend was quitefun and festive if I do say so myself. Today's post is a little of my night at the Savoy. I never been there before, but heard it was pretty lowkey...so I kept it cute but chill. Here's a little more of my Outfit of the Night.
