Curvy by Nature.

1.25.2015

Hey ladies! Today's post is all about CONFIDENCE. Not just confidence in general but curvy confidence. This super cute cheetah dress that I am rocking is from a boutique that I absolutely loveee called Curve Culture. If you remember my last year's Valentine post I wore a skin tight liquid dress from their boutique, that everybody went crazy for on Instagram

Well Curve Culture has a trailer that I think every woman should see. The trailer depicts a woman who is outright thirsty, no confidence and needy of attention. She meets someone that helps her realize that confidence is all in your mind. When she realized who she really was and walked in her confidence, I literally got goosebumps.

Definitely a moving message. Being curvy is a lifestyle, a culture. Click play. You wont be disappointed!

Not everyone could afford name brand clothing. I know, for me living in California, the cost of living could get you down in itself. So, finding cute fashionable clothes on a dime is my specialty lol. I know you ladies are always asking where I shop and get my clothing from. So, when I find out somewhere NEW I can’t wait to share! Today’s look is featuring Payless4Brands, an online store that carries name brand clothing for plus and straight sizes.  Because their items are brand-new overstock items, they carry names like Lane Bryant, Catherines, Fashion Bug, and Express at a fraction of the price.

In today’s look, I am rocking a Lane Bryant striped button-down that I received recently from the company. I decided to pair the top with my favorite skinny jeans and to add a little splash of color and contrast, I finished the look off with red Zara heels and a red thrifted clutch.  I received a few items and, honestly, they all were ah-mazing quality. I will be posting more looks over the next couple weeks featuring the items I received. I hope you liked this look and stay tuned for more! If you want to see more of what Payless4Brands has to offer, check out the links below!

Dear Kate.

9.17.2014

What woman doesn’t like a cute pair of panties? I know that I do. What if you could find a cute pair of panties that were also high performance? High performance?? YES. Meaning they absorb moisture, unlike your normal panty, keeping you feeling fresh all day and are also stain resistant. I had the opportunity to try this “Super” panty from the Queen collection of a company called Dear Kate.

“The brilliance is in the fabric. Dear Kate's founder utilized her chemical engineering background to create the patent-pending fabric lining each pair of underwear. Comprised of two luxurious microfiber layers and a thin, breathable outer layer, this is revolutionary fabric to the rescue. Dear Kates are designed for real women. Each pair is machine washable, unbelievably comfortable and a peace-of-mind guarantee.”

I wore my pair yesterday and the very first thing that I noticed was how great the quality was and how comfortable they were. I’ve had my run of the rough scratchy lace underwear, or the ones that cut into your skin and the list goes on. With these, The fabric was ah-mazing and the fit was even better. I also did Tae bo yesterday (got my Billy Blanks on lol) and they stayed right in place, the whole workout tape, and did a great job at absorbing moisture.

I definitely recommend these. Especially, to those who work out or have an active lifestyle. They practically eliminate the need for panty liners. Before you know it, you’ll be singing “ I got 99 problems but panties aint one!” :)

Faux Letather Jacket: Fashion Ave | Sequin Top: DD's | Skinnies: Q {Cerritos Mall} | Bag: Fashion Ave | Boots: Previously owned
Happy Monday boo’s! Hope you had a great weekend as we head back to the grind. I don’t know about your area, but it’s really starting to get chilly in the LA. For some people our idea of cold isn’t really cold, but anything under 60 degrees is a problem lol. So with all the rain and spurts of cold weather I decided I needed some new items to keep me warm. One of the items I picked up was a faux leather hoodie with cotton sleeves in an oxblood and grey color {posted on my IG @lacenleopard} and the other was this black faux leather jacket that I absolutely love! Sometimes faux leather could look really fake, so I was happy to find a jacket that I loved the texture, the look and fit.

On this day, I was going for an edgy yet chic look.  So, I decided to pair it up with a black and gold sequin top with sheer paneling and some black skinnies. I completed the look with my tan lace up boots and a black gold studded bag. I loved the way everything came out and look forward to being creative with my closet as the weather changes. What are some items you added to your closet this season? Or Winter staples?

Much love,
Tiff

Who says it’s too cold for crop tops? Lol. Since we are still in transitioning weather, here in Cali, I thought what the heck? I wanted to go for an urban chic look. So with a monochromatic look on the brain, I threw on some black skinnies, striped crop top, nude strappy heels and finished off the look with a Compton snapback. Definitely a fun look for a fun night out. Now if I could only run into Problem…. #comptonsfinest ;) Hehe…

Much love,
Tiff

Congrats!

Hey loves! Happy Monday…hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for what this week has to bring! Ok, so these past couple of weeks I’ve been going a  little crop crazy. But hey...what the heck? It’s liberating! I’m loving the fact that us plus size, thick, curvy, voluptuous, (whatever you want to call it lol) women are not caring what others think and are just doing and wearing what makes us happy ;) So, this night I was going out for a few drinks and appetizers with my fam and friends. I decided to wear some dark fade skinny jeans with a thrifted print top that I tied at the waist. I finished the look off with a pop of color from my zara heels, vintage clutch and pink lip. I loved how it all came together, definitely felt ready for a night on the town with my boo’s ;)

Ps.
Start gathering all of your summer looks. This years ‘End of Summer Contest’ is coming soon!!!

Much love,
Tiff

Ok ladies, so I am SO proud of myself! I had absolutely NOTHING to wear this Memorial Day. I really wanted to wear some shorts but I don’t own any because I can rarely find shorts that fit me the way that I want and that I feel are flattering. So all of a sudden I felt inspired to start a little DIY project and make my own distressed shorts! I pulled out some jeans that I thrifted for $1 and pulled up a Youtube video (good ole’ trusty Youtube) lol. 15 minutes and one wash later, I had the best shorts ever! They fit perfectly and I cut them right where I wanted them, that was most flattering to me. I paired it with a graphic tank top, oversized shades, and some cute flats. I kept my hair simple with loose waves and threw on a pink lip…and was set to go! Don’t sleep on the thrift yall! I have a feeling I will be shopping there all summer lol. I hope you had a great holiday! What did yall wear?

Much love,

Just Enough.

Good morning loves! For all my mother’s out there I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s day Weekend! As for me, I was totally out of line. My family had a fish fry and I acted up! Waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over my calorie limit ladies lol. And speaking of calories, how have your summer bodies been coming along? My birthday is coming up next month…so I need to get my LIFE, understand? Lol But let me stop rambling…this was my OOTN for a little movie date. I kept it simple with a sheer burnt orange top with gold detailing, black liquid leggings with sheer paneling and leopard booties. I also kept the hair and face simple with natural make up and loose waves. Simple with just enough sexy equaled a perfect night ;)

Much love,
