SAME FIT DONE THICK

Same Fit Done Thick Inspired By:  Leigh Anne Pinnock of  Brittish Girl Group Little Mix

Hey lovlies! Hope you all had a FAB weekend as we head back to the grind :) These past couple of weeks have been AMAZING for me. I have attended different fashion shows, met bloggers I LOVE, designers I admire and more. This night I was attending the Style Fashion Week fashion show with friends Tyra and Ebony. I was definitely excited as I had never been to a fashion show this big. Draya from Basketball Wives LA, the Jenner Sisters, Lindsey Lohan and others were all in attendance.

For my night on the town, I decided to wear this Typography Midi Dress from Asos that I absolutely LOVE with three-toned Zara heels and a Vingtage red clutch. This dress was a definite HIT! It fit like a glove and hugged my curves in all the right places. Everyone seemed to love it and gave me a lot of nice compliments ;) I also saw that Leigh Anne Pinnock from the girl group Little Mix had previously wore the dress as well. Hence, another Same Fit Done Thick! I just love that us thick, curvy and plus size women are proving more and more everyday that we should never be counted out!

Much love,
Tiff

Lace N’ Leopard turns ONE today!!! Wow…when I first started blogging, I NEVER imagined my blog would be where it is today. I just knew that I loved and admired fashion and I wanted to talk about it, show it and share it from my perspective. So many positive things have come from this journey and, as I reflect on the past year, one of the things I am most PROUD of is creating Same Fit Done Thick. I have gotten so much POSITIVE feedback from readers who love that fact that the series shows that plus size women can SERVE up the same outfit as their smaller counterparts, and just as well. ENCOURAGING women to do away with phrases like “I’m too big for that” or “When I lose weight I’m going to wear”. Wear it NOW. Be proud, be confident and WERK. I am so happy to be a part of that. So thank you. Thank you for all the LOVE, comments, likes, follows, shares, features, encouragement and support…I appreciate it, I truly do.

And…To show my appreciation, there will be GIVEAWAYS this week!! So make sure that you are checking back on the blog and following me on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK so you don’t miss out on your chance to WIN!!!

Oh and let me not forget the FASHION! YES honey! High bun, FUR, Shades, Oxblood and TRIBAL print was all in effect for the anniversary shoot! Trying to be gone with the wind FABULOUS honey! ::TWIRL:: lol ;)

Retro.

1.10.2013

Hey boo's! Ok, so this top is one of those thrifted items that I wonder who wore it and where? I love the retro vibe it gives, bright colors and comfortable fit. I decided to let it be the focal point of my outfit and paired it with all black and nude heels. I wore this out to celebrate a friends birthday and it worked out perfect! Do you have a retro or vintage piece that your glad you found?

Much love,

Baby Blues.

I had much going on this weekend, between doing photoshoots, getting Trent ready for the new school year and everything in between. But one of the things that I was most excited about was attending one of my high school friends baby shower. I hadn’t seen her in a while so it was very good to catch up and see all the pretty things put together for her new baby girl.

I decided to go for a little mix of old and new (my favorite combo these days) for my outfit that day. I wore a “dotted” <<< maybe not the best description lol <<< silk top, that I fell in love with at the thrift store… with my blue skinnies and nude heels. A vintage fur and gold chained purse, also thrifted, and muted gold statement necklace tied the whole look together.

I swear all these babies everywhere is certainly giving me the itch for more, especially when one of my good friends said she had a dream I had another baby boy -_- lol. However, for now, it will be just that…a dream :)
