Remix

11.17.2016

Jacket |  Jeans | Cami | Heels: local mall
Ok, so hands down these are my favorite jeans and jacket right now and yes they are from Rainbow! These jeans are so stylish and comfy (and they are on sale for less than $25 -- yes!) and the same goes with the jacket -- super comfortable and I can see myself rocking thi from now until next summer and beyond.

I rocked these same jeans in a look from last week and just switched out the top and jacket for a completely different look. Finding pieces that transcends through the seasons is always a plus and definitely helps your pocket book! So, don't be afraid to play around in your closet and some remix some old outfits to create something new. Or find something new to mix with something you already have, the options are limitless!

Can't Touch This

When I think about wearing all white, the first thing that I honestly think is hell-to-the-naw lol. I love it but I am not the best at wearing it. I truly do not understand how people like Lisa Raye can wear white majority of the time?? Well, at any rate...I was in the mood to wear white in this look and I absolutely love the way it came out! Now, keeping it clean is another story lol.

Fashion Nova sent me these jeans to try out from their new curve line and I love them. They feature a slim slit at the knee and are a really soft stretch material. Even though they stretch, they definitely still feel like jeans. Their sizing runs a little small, so I would suggest sizing up, if you have a bigger bottom portion, if possible. I wear a 3X and that is the biggest size they carry, so I just had to make it work. The jeans were a little tight, but the stretch material really helped and made them comfortable.

Fashion Nova already had some very cute clothing for their straight size line and that has extended to the curve line. I will definitely be trying out more items soon. If you want to try them out yourself, use code "lacenleopard" for a 15% discount. Every little bit helps! I hope that you like this look and if you have any tips on how you keep your white, white lol...please do share! ;)

Blue Magic

8.16.2016

Dress | Heels

Hands down, one of my top pre-fall essentials is Navy blue. You will be seeing a lot more of the color from me in my upcoming looks. Heck, I might even do a navy look book since I'm digging the color so much. I received this dress from Fierce N Kurvee boutique and instantly fell in love. I already love maxi dresses (duh...who doesn't), but combined with the color it was an instant hit.

You may remember another navy blue number that I wore from the boutique that everyone loved on my Instagram. This dress features a wrap front detailing and a long belt for a sophisticated touch. The top dips down a little low, so for an easy fix I used a small safety pin and adjusted to my liking. This is totally optional as you can always wear a fancy bra to showcase or your very own "natural assets" if  you know what I'm saying :)

I finished off the look with a gold collar necklace and gold bracelets that I purchased while vacationing in Puerto Rico. This dress made me feel good in it, sleek, sophisticated and sexy at the same time. And any dress that does all that...is nothing short of magic ;)

Flow Up

7.31.2016

Top | Skirt

So, yesterday was my high school reunion and it was so good reconnecting with love ones. As we get older sometimes we get so busy with life that we don't take the time to foster relationships that mean the most to us. I told myself that I need to be that change and will make more of an effort to improve my relationships and this reunion was a great reminder of that.

I knew that we were meeting at the beach and I wanted to wear something long and flowy. So, instead of a dress I opted for a floral off-shoulder top that I tied up to create a crop top and a maxi skirt in a complimenting color. The outfit was a hit! I received so many compliments and most of all I was comfortable and felt good in it! Which, to me, is key to a confident look.

If I learned anything from yesterday..it's that relationships matter and that's what it is all about. First, my relationship with God, family and friends. I heard once: If everything material was stripped from us all we have is the relationships that we have built. That hit home. So, keep loving and keep in touch! And always keep it curvy, classy and confident!

Earning Stripes

5.10.2016

Dress | Heels | Bag

Who says a big girl can’t wear stripes?? Vertical, horizontal, diagonal who cares?! One of spring’s biggest trends is right up my alley because its clean, easy and gives a preppy-nautical look that I love. As seen on the runway of Missoni and Tommy Hilfiger, you could easily dress the trend down with a cute pair of converse or flats or dress it up, a little, with a nice pair of chunky heels or wedges.

I got this dress from Rainbow Shops. Ok, seriously, I LOVE everything about this dress. I wore it to show you for the blog. But, best believe I took it off very carefully and tucked it neatly away in the closet anxious for the opportunity to wear it out lol. The fabric is super comfy and hits just below the knees for the perfect midi length. It did run a little big. So, I would suggest sizing down if you decide to get it. And for under $15 bucks why wouldn’t you?! ;)

*UPDATE: I had the wrong link before, links should be updated now for the dress and it is in stock. Sorry!

Hey loves! I hope you are all having a great weekend. I'm back at it with the tu-tu's! I can't seem to get enough of them! Here's a little outfit inspiration filled with mauve tones and a pop of color. A little birdy told me that Society Plus is having a 40% off sale on all their tu-tu's to celebrate their one year anniversary. Thank me later! ;)

Spicy Mustard

11.15.2015

It's been a while since I've done this, but this is entire look is made up of older items straight from my closet! Nothing new whatsoever. Even better, this bomber was thrifted for only $2 back in 2012! I just wanted to do this post to show that style has no price tag. You can be stylish with what you already have hidden deep within your closet or if you have only a couple dollars to spare.

Much love,
Tiff

Military Chic

10.18.2015

Top | Leggings | Backpack | Jacket | Faux Fur Stole | Peep Toe Booties
Olive is one of the hottest colors on trend this Fall. Today's look is all about chicness with a little edge. I am showing you a simple look incorporating the military color dressed up with a touch of fur and faux leather or dressed down with a simple backpack and nude heels.

Which look is more your style?
