Friendsmas!

12.15.2014

Top: Older, I believe I got it from @fashiontrendinc | Skinnies: Gifted | Heels: Rainbow | Belt: @labellacouture1

So IDK if this only applies to me and my friends? But it seems like the older you get the less presents you get for Christmas?! One day you wake up and your running around like a chicken with his head cut off looking for gifts only for Christmas day to come around and you have one gift, if you’re lucky lol. So, with this realization, a few friends and I decided that we would do our own gift exchange each year and call it “Friendsmas”. Last year, went up to the snow and exchanged gifts. This year, we did a painting over drinks. Which was SO fun! I can’t believe I made my painting because I am truly artistically challenged. Stick figures? Yeah, that’s all me lol.  To say I had a BLAST would be an understatement. We may not spend a lot of time together but when we do it’s always good times. Especially if drinks are involved ;)

For my outfit of the night, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible but still cute. So I opted for a non-restricting flowy asymmetrical top that I love! It hides the belly and has a flattering cut. Perfect for those nights you don’t want to suck it in or wrap it tight lol. I paired the top with these super cute leopard skinnies that my mom gave me. Thanks Mom! And finished off the look with my three-toned Zara inspired heels and oversized gold plated belt.

I loved the way the look came together but loved the time spent with friends even more ;) What are some of your Christmas traditions?

Much love,
Tiff @LaceNLeopard

TCF Turns 5!

With the lady of the hour +Marie Denee

Hey boo’s! So…this weekend was nothing short of FABULOUS honey!! When I heard about The Curvy Fashionista’s 5th year blog anniversary party, #TCFTurns5, I HAD to attend.  I briefly met Marie during LA Fashion Week a few months ago and she is, honestly, one of the most fun and down to earth people that I have met. Definitely, comfortable in her own skin and dripping with FIERCENESS! The invite said “Dress to Impress” So you know I had to come with my “A” game lol. I decided to wear A skin-toned bodycon dress with sparkly gold detailing {LOVED!} and three-toned nude, black & brown heels. I finished off the look with bold statement pieces: A faux fur collar, chunky gold jewelry and a metallic leopard clutch. Face was BEAT by my boo @makemeupgurl ;) I LOVE the way everything came together…nobody could tell me nothing chile!! Lol

The event took place at LA Live in the VIP area of Club Nokia and everyone looked wonderful, very classy and chic establishment and scenery. I was also happy to run into a few friends in the blogging world as well as plus size modeling. Really, to say I had a good time would be an understatement. I can’t wait to attend more events, meet new people and just have some fun in fashion! Let’s go 2014!

Much Love,
Tiff

OOTN: Give Me More...Leopard That Is!

3.29.2012

Hey Ladies! Hope this post finds you well...

So this past weekend was quite non-stop as it was two of my friend's birthday weekend. So we did a little clubbin at the Savoy, ate a little dinner at Wokano's, did a photoshoot,  had a turn-around trip to Wet Willies in San Diego,  and capped it off with champagne and crab legs at the Reef. So yes, this weekend was quitefun and  festive if I do say so myself. Today's post is a little of my night at the Savoy. I never been there before, but heard it was pretty lowkey...so I kept it cute but chill. Here's a little more of my Outfit of the Night.

Much love,
Tiff

OOTN: Saddle Ranch

3.13.2012

So me and my girlfriends promised each other that we would at least spend one day a month doing something fun together. We all work so much and get so busy with our own lives that it's hard to catch up as much as we would like. So, this weekend we made a date to go to the Saddle Ranch in Universal City for a birthday party, and guess what the theme was? LEOPARD!!!! Was this right up my alley or what? I decided to keep it low-key and opt for a black dress with leopard heels.I wasn't brave enough to ride the bull...but I definitely had a good time with my girls! Here is my look for the night :)

Much love,
Tiff

Ok...so I don't know if you noticed but I haven't posted in a few weeks, I have a few reasons. 1.) I was on vacation in New Orleans. Mardi Gras baybeeeee!!!! Woo Woo!!! Yaaayyyy!!! Yeeee!!! Ok sorry, I'm back...lol. 2). I felt a change was needed before I started blogging again. I just started blogging about 2 months ago and I really didn't think that I would enjoy it as much as I do. Really, I couldn't have been so wrong! I find blogging to be one of my best ventures yet, I would even call it therapeutic. So, after much thought, advice and a little research, I felt that switching to Blogger was the best option for me. Sure, I was going to lose all of my wonderful comments and have to start over from scratch, but I rather do it two months in than before I had too many post under my belt. Along with the host change I also decided to change my name to reflect a little more about me fashion wise. So I went with my absolute favorite fabric and my absolute favorite print. Hence, Lace N' Leopard! So after my long winded blog changing disclaimer, lets get on with the Fashion! Here is one of night looks while on vacay, and yes, its Leopard...lol.

Much love,
Tiff
