I am embracing all variations of the nude family in today's look. Camel, almond, cream, caramel...you name it..I love them. The mock neck midi dress that I am rocking is from Fierce N Kurvee boutique. I am in love with the the fit and length...I adore everything about a good midi! I paired it with a camel colored shaw, also from the boutique, and nude cage heels from Go Jane. This fit definitely had me feeling so fre$h and so clean.

Mirror Love.

Hey boo’s! I hope the new year is off to a good start for you! It’s the 2^nd week into 2014 and whether you made resolutions or not, don’t forget that you could do anything you set your mind to; And bettering yourself should be a constant goal, not just the first 3 months of the year ;) I bring this up because I constantly try to revisit this same goal: To do more things out of LOVE.

That’s why when I saw this sweater that had the words “love” written on it, mirrored, I felt that it was perfect for me to bring in the New Year with. I decided to pair it with some acid stonewash jeans and my FAVORITE Zara heels. I finished off the look with chunky gold jewelry, midi rings, sparkly eyes and nude lips. I loved the way the look came out, and feel like it was “Edgy with a message” lol. I wish you all the best, as always, and I’ll leave you with this:

The Weekend.

Hey ladies! Hope you all had a great weekend as we head back to the grind. As for me, I had a pretty relaxing weekend. I went to church and the movies to see The Best Man Holiday. I absolutely loved the movie! Definitely a tear jerker and full of good comedy. I’m glad I saw it with my BFF cause I was crying like a baby (yes I’m sensitive lol). I would have been totally embarrassed with anyone else lol. The sequel was definitely long overdue and the way it ended, seems like there may be another one coming soon…I sure hope so lol. Anyhoo, for church I ended up wearing a mustard colored pencil skirt from Lane Bryant and a black and gold jaguar print top that I got from DD’s that I thought was too cute. I know that DD’s isn’t the most highly esteemed store lol…but I promise I find some of the cutest pieces there for dirt cheap. You just have to have patience and approach it as you would thrifting. I finished the look off with a black envelope clutch from F21 and low-heel black pumps from Red Tag. I don’t know what it is, but pencil skirts automatically make me feel feminine, sophisticated and chic. A closet staple for sure! What’s a closet staple of yours?
