******UPDATE!!!*****
MY LOOK WAS TOYA APPROVED!

Happy Monday Ladies! I hope you had a great weekend and are well rested for the week. As for me, the weekend was good. I did some relaxing, barbequing and got a chance to catch up with some of my girlfriends, which was much needed. We ended up meeting for dinner and drinks at a restaurant called Beso in LA. I loved the spot, It was my first time there and the ambiance was so nice. Not to mention, the food was delicious! For my outfit of the night I decided to go for a monochromatic look with a  pop of color. I chose a lightweight black blazer with an asymmetrical black top, black and white striped leggings with chunky turquoise blue heels. My outfit is actually a ‘Same Fit Done Thick’ look inspired by, one of my faves, Toya Wright ;) I just love that fact that us plus size, BBW or curvy women can take a look, be inspired and make it our own. Overall, I was really pleased with how everything came out. Chic, simple and comfy…just the way I like it ;) If you have any looks you dubbed from a straight size inspiration…don’t forget to submit! I would love to see how you WERKED it!

Much love,
Tiff

Good morning loves! For all my mother’s out there I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s day Weekend! As for me, I was totally out of line. My family had a fish fry and I acted up! Waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over my calorie limit ladies lol. And speaking of calories, how have your summer bodies been coming along? My birthday is coming up next month…so I need to get my LIFE, understand? Lol But let me stop rambling…this was my OOTN for a little movie date. I kept it simple with a sheer burnt orange top with gold detailing, black liquid leggings with sheer paneling and leopard booties. I also kept the hair and face simple with natural make up and loose waves. Simple with just enough sexy equaled a perfect night ;)

Much love,

Hello ladies!! Recently, I was contacted by Marie Southard. Blogger, journalist for Marie Claire, NYU student and fellow fashion enthusiast to do an interview for her blog as well as an article for Famelogy.net. Marie asked questions that I never really pondered on before…We talk “fame”, aspirations, advice on how to grow your blog and more! The first article is more personal and is from Marie’s blog  and the second article is featured on Famelogy.net  talks about all types of women dominating the plus size blogging world...from greats like Gabi Fresh to the The Curvy Fashionista! I’m just so grateful and honored to be a part of this and recognized for what I do…it’s the best feeling ;)

Much love,
Tiff

Hey divas!! So, I’m back with another outfit of the day featuring Luxe Vain Boutique! Ok so, trust me when I say I know the struggle when it comes to finding affordable, cute and trendy clothes being plus sized. So when I was contacted to do review on a new company that has just that… you know I was excited. We can never have enough stores for us curvy ladies right? Lol “Luxe Vain Boutique provides bold, trendy, and exclusive full figure fashions to inspire confidence and empowerment in all voluptuous women.”

Today’s post features their Nichelle SkaterDress” which I absolutely loved. To me, it is the perfect mix of innocence and sexy with its baby doll fit and sexy sheer cutouts at the cleavage and neckline. I let the bright peachy orange color take center stage and finished off the look with some of my favorite black heels, gold accessories and half tinted shades. I wore this out to dinner and drinks and it was a hit ;) Take a look at the site... I know you will find something you like…I got my eye on the “Maxine Maxi Dress” next lol. Cardigan: DD's / Jeans: Rainbow / Heels: Reflections / Bag: Ebay / Earrings: Gifted

Hey Beauties! Hope all is well with you. I wore this outfit for a family bbq this weekend and decided to go for the nautical look. I kept it simple with a cami, dark blue jeans and a striped lightweight cardigan. I finished the look off with nude heels a boho bag and a pop of color with my neon earrings. I had so much fun catching up with my family and totally went over my calorie limit lol, but hey,  I might as well get used to it as summer quickly approaches and the functions ensue ;)

Much love,

Hey divas! Hope all is wonderfully well with you ;) So…I’m back with another outfit of the night that was worn to a friend’s house party for her birthday. I wanted to be cute but not overdone, so I opted for a pair of acid stonewash jeans that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and a tummy flattering asymmetrical top. I finished the look off with nude strappy heels, simple gold accessories, light makeup and wavy tresses. I was excited about this look because I got this whole outfit for under $80 shoes and purse included, with no thrifted items! Not too bad on the wallet…and you gotta love that ;)

Remember when we HAD to match everything head to toe? Lol. Everything HAD to be corrrrdinated…it’s amazing how style has evolved and fashion is full of being playful with mixing colors, prints, textures and patterns. I love the direction fashion is heading, but this night I decided to go back to the old school and match from head to toe...yep down to the eyeshadow! Lol. Just another log in my fashion journal as I experiment with past and present fashion trends. I wore this outfit out for a night on the town with my girl Ericka for comedy, drinks and sushi at the Geisha House in Hollywood. We had a ball! And, as I think about it, this outfit is actually another “Whole Fit From The Thrift” (I just realized that as I was typing lol) except for the Zara heels. I found the skinnies at goodwill for $2 and the patterned top and purse at the Quality Thrift. The top was $1 and I believe the clutch was $4. So yes, you’re looking at a $7 dollar outfit ;) So what do you think? Match, mix it up, or a little of both?

Much love,
