So, today is the official first day of Fall! Even though I loveee the summer I cannot lie and say that I am not excited for the upcoming cooler months. Layering, coats, scarves, boots -- I love it all! Today's look is all about that transition. Mustard/Yellow is a definite color must-have this Fall and distressed jeans work in all seasons, in my opinion. I'm wearing flats, because I wanted to do more of a casual look, coming straight out of summer -- but you can always rock your favorite booties or closed toe'd flats. You can check out where I got these items, now, on my Instagram page! I post on IG much more than my blog, so make sure you're following me there! :)
Much love,
Tiff

Now on to the outfit! To just say I am in love with these jeans from Rainbow would be a total understatement! The fit is the bombbbbbb, they're edgy and super affordable. What more could you ask for in a great pair of jeans??! I wore this to a Q & A session via the Jasmine Brand with actress Claudia Jordan.
I felt relaxed, comfy but still ready for the occasion. If you are wanting to step up your jean game, these are definitely it! Hurry, only a size 20 left!

Hello beautiful people. I hope you are officially over the Monday
blues and ready to tackle the rest of the week. I am here to share with you my
next fall look in my 3-look jean series. This outfit incorporates an item that
is definitely on trend right now...THE VEST. It’s the ultimate layering piece
and makes any outfit a little more interesting. You could pair it with your
favorite turtleneck or even a long sleeve mock dress. Let me know how you like
this look and your favorite layering piece this fall.
Tip: The thrift store is usually filled with vests of
different colors and textures. Start off there, if you want to try out the
trend but not spend too much.
Much love,
Tiff

Ok, let's face it. Summer is almost over! The heat may remain, in some places, but the fashion is definitely changing. So as your top retail stores switch gears, in preparation for Fall, here are a few tips to make the transition a little easier.
A cute backpack in place of your traditional purse can give you a fun and carefree look during the summer months, but can also serve a dual purpose as it carries your essentials or school books in the Fall.
A pair of neutral booties like these from Charlotte Russe look great in the summer with a boho style dress or a pair of cute shorts, but can also transition well into fall months with your favorite pair of dark colored skinny jeans.
A lace box tee is light and airy enough to wear during the heat but is a great base for any fall items like oxblood skinnies, olive green pants or a floor length skirt.

So play it up and mix and match, but most of all have fun with it!

I am always excited to tell you ladies about new plus size stores and designers. As you already know, our options could be really limited for fashionable and trendy clothing. With that being said, I am happy to be one of first to let you know about Charlotte Russe Plus Size Launch! Their plus size clothing offers a variety of stylish tops, bottoms, dresses, rompers and denim – up to size 24/3X.
In the above look, I decided to try a denim on denim look
with their denim Chambray Top and Refuge "Boyfriend" Cropped Jeans. I added a little spring flair with
neon pumps from GoJane and my neon-leopard clutch. One thing, I like most about
their clothing is the sizing. I have looked everywhere for a nice fitting denim
top and either it was too tight to button up or you could peep through the
buttons. This top fit perfectly. So, they run true to size – women sizing not
junior plus, in my experience. I would suggest checking out a participating Charlotte
Russe in your area to see what I mean. Happy shopping ladies!
Much love,

It’s always good to try something different right? I took that philosophy and ran with it, in this week’s look. I am constantly looking for and finding inspiration online and on the streets. Fashion is everywhere and I love it! My girl @iamdnicole BRINGS it when it comes to fashion inspiration and outfit creation on her Polyvore Style by D Nicole. I love her range of outfits. She posts anywhere from sophisticated chic to, day to day, cute and casual.
I decided to try one of her edgier looks and complete it with my own twist. Leather? Check. Distressed jeans? Check. Black lips? Check. (Sidenote: I lovvveed the black lippie!) This look screams “Edgy Chic” and I could not wait to recreate it! Be sure to check her out for more outfit inspiration!! So the question is… did I nail it or nah? ;)
Much love,

You ever feel like you have no idea what to wear to a concert? I know I did! You want to be cute…but not overdressed and, most importantly, you also want to be comfortable. No one wants to be stuck at a 2 hour concert with their feet hurting or wearing something that is too tight. I made that mistake one time. I went to a rap concert in a full bodycon dress and heels. Worst mistake ever! Plus the concert was standing room only! I felt extremely over dressed and just outright uncomfortable.
So, this time around I learned from my past mistakes and kept things cute and casual. This night, I was going to see B.O.B and Kevin Gates at Club Nokia. It was standing room only. It’s sort of like a club environment. So, I decided to wear a simple black tank with distressed jeans. I made the look more trendy and edgy by adding a waist wrapped flannel and chucks.
I loved the way the look came together and, more importantly, I could dance all night!
Much Love,
Tiff @LaceNLeopard
