Lawdddd I have some THUNDA thighs!! I remember for the longest trying to cover them up because I was embarrassed at how big they were or embarrassed of my cellulite. I still don’t really wear shorts a LOT, but I am at the point in my life where I’m thinking what the heck??? I can’t live my life worried about what someone else is going to think or say about me. I am going to wear what makes me feel good! Which brings me to this outfit! I felt cute! I was a little nervous about it at first, because the shorts were really short, but I lovvveeee the way it came together!

This look is perfect for a casual lunch and shopping or a day at the beach with flats. I love that this top from @labellacouture1 leaves a little bit to the imagination but is still super sexy with the high side splits. I swear I want every color!  I paired the top with some fringed stonewashed shorts and finished off the look with my neon & leopard bag, nude heels and chucky gold accessories.

For my ladies that feel self-conscious about wearing short shorts, that want to, take a step out of your comfort zone and try it! I mean…we only have one life to live and besides, who gone pop you?? Do ya thang girl! :)

Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what you want to wear. Especially when the place you’re going is really important, or it’s a certain type of crowd, OR it is a delicious unlimited brunch and champagne buffet!! lol You want to be comfortable since you’ll probably be stuffing your face, but you want to be cute too right?? lol

This outfit ended up being the best of both worlds! I decided to wear these super cute mint colored skinny’s that I got from @fashionavenueplus (which is one of my faves right now) with a white sheer-lace peplum top. It was perfect, because it cute and sexy, yet it covered the stomach area…which was going to be nice and full. I finished off the look with nude strappy heels, a simple gold watch and a metallic leopard clutch for a little edge. I absolutely loved the way the look came together. I felt fun,’ summerish’, feminine and most importantly comfortable ;)

Work to Happy Hour

Work wear…weekend wear…pretty different right? Well, not necessarily! I love picking those pieces that transition well in different environments. For instance, (hence the title) I wore this dress to work on Friday and then straight to Happy Hour. I just removed the cardigan to lighten up the look. I also could have added  some bracelets, a brighter lipstick or a different color heel to give the look a fun spin. I didn’t have any of that on hand so I had to work with what I had. I could also wear this look to the beach over my bathing suit with some flats and a big slouchy bag. This summer try to look for multifunctional pieces that you wear to fit the many things going on in your life!

Heavy Rotation.

Ok, so as you can probably already tell these shorts are going to be in heavy rotation this summer! I love how easy they are but still speaks volumes when it comes to personal style. I wore this OOTD for a family bbq on Memorial Day. I paired them with a sheer and sleeveless orange top and nude flats. And that’s about it! Very chill & very comfortable. I can’t wait to make more! I want to start experimenting with coloring and customizing too. So, we’ll see. Stay tuned!

Lighten Up

I’m baaacccckkk! Ok, so I have been in a fashion rut lately. I feel like I have absolutely no clothes! We know that’s not the truth...but I’m sure you ladies know the feeling lol. Plus, I just haven’t been in the mood to get dressed up. Do you ladies ever feel like that? Anyhoo…this new hair that I got from International Hair Xpressions is exactly what I needed to snap me out of my rut and get cute! lol As you know, I had been rocking my hair natural for a month or so and was ready for another protective style and just something different. I went out for drinks and dancing with my girlfriends this weekend, so this was a perfect time for me to debut my new do ;)

I wanted to go lighter for my birthday (June 11th ;)) and the summer, but I really don’t want to put any chemicals on my natural hair, so lightening this hair was perfect! When I received the hair it was so soft and smelled ah-mazing! I have gotten hair through the mail that smelled like straight up corn chips yall! I received (1) 14-16 (1) 16-18 and (1) 20-22 and decided to make a wig with a lace closure. This is my second time doing it and I am so proud of myself! Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes : Product Review

With and without

 First off, let me start by saying that I generally hate wearing mascara. Probably because my eyelashes are fairly short and thin, and after putting on mascara they are still fairly short and thin…just blacker lol. I would rather just put some lashes on and get it over with. But then, who really wants to take the time to wear eyelashes EVERY day?? I don’t lol. So, when I was sent this mascara from @youniquelyjontrell I kinda felt like I already knew what the results were going to be before I tried it. Right…”short and thin…just blacker lol.”

However, to my surprise not only were my lashes darker they were a lot THICKER and LONGER! Idk what those little fiber partials and gel do exactly, but what I can say is that they do their job! Lol. I loved the results and can definitely say this is a current BEAUTY FAVE of mine right now!
