Dress: Target
Wedges: Reg Tag
Necklace: Grandmothers
Clutch: Rainbow
Bracelet: Fallas

I'm so excited that summer is here! I'm so ready to break out more bright colors, sheer tops, breezy fabrics and of course...summer dresses :) While passing through a Target in the mall to actually find another outfit, I saw this cute striped high-low dress...and for $19.99 I just couldn't pass it up! I paired it with some linked-gold accessories and comfy two toned wedges. Perfect for a beautiful cali day in the sun :)

Much love,

Work Related: Makeup to Breakup

4.10.2012

I don't know about yall, but there was a time in my life that I was completed addicted to makeup! I would not go a day without a full face of makeup, yep..lashes and all. And not to say anything is wrong with that, but I started noticing I didnt like the way I looked unless I had it on. Anyway, one day my mom was like "baby, your so pretty why do you wear SO much makeup?" It took my mom to say it...but I really reflected on what she said. The next day, I went cold turkey. I went into work, sans makeup, and people actually thought I wasnt feeling well...lol...I was like wow. Since then, I stopped wearing so much makeup to work and only get fancy with it on the weekends for the most part. Wondering...do you feel pretty without makeup? What are some items that you cant go without on a daily basis?

Here is a casual day at the office with a little foundation and lip gloss...

Back in 2005, my mother started a faith based non-profit organization called Set Free with Divine Intervention. The non-profit organization is comprised of two homes in Long Beach, CA that provide transitional housing, job readiness, etc., for at-risk youth and pregnant women with children. This weekend Set Free hosted a graduation ceremony for members of the board as well as others who received their Associates degree in Biblical Studies, me included! I wanted to wear something bright and fun to reflect my mood for this beautiful occasion, and this is what I wore...

Ps. If you are in the LA area and know anyone in need of housing that is male, ages 18-25, or any pregnant women or women with children in need... Please contact me at lacenleopard@gmail.com.

Much love,
Tiff

Neon Orange Nails

3.10.2012

So..I posted about the neon trend the other day and realized that I have NO neon pieces O.o. So I decided while getting a much needed mani & pedi yesterday, that I would go neon with my nails until I find some pieces that I like. I really like the color and how it looks against my skin. I'm definitely going to try some more shades. Here is a video on how my mani turned out. FYI, I played around with my video a little...so its on this cutesy setting that I like that shows the true color better :) I also listed a few nail color suggestions with links on where to buy them below. Hope you like!

Much love,
Tiff
