Dress: Rebdolls | Heels: Rainbow | Clutch: Fashion to Figure

Hey boo’s! So, this is the 3^rd and final look from my Valentine’sLookbook. The other two looks were on the dressier side, so I wanted to do a more fun look that still exudes much sexiness. This is one of those looks that you rock when you want to channel your inner naughtiness ;), show a little skin but still be tasteful. I decided to pair this beautiful draped dress, by Rebdolls, with low nude heels. I didn’t want a short dress and super tall heels unless I was trying to be super naughty lol. 

 

I finished off the look with my printed clutch from Fashion to Figure and simple gold accessories as usual.  I loved the way this look came together and I loved that I didn’t feel really restricted in this piece. It was very flattering, in the tummy area, to say the least. Cute + Comfortable? Can’t beat that with a stick! LOL I hope you enjoyed this Lookbook and be expecting many more to come! Single on V-Day.

Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Be Happy that you're single!

With Valentine’s Day being right around the corner some of you singles out there might feel a little anxiety about not having that special somebody to spend it with. When it comes to relationships these days, is love really hard to find or are we looking in the wrong places with distorted expectations? Who knows! I do not consider myself to be an expert on “How to Find Love” but if you are in a loving relationship with someone where the feelings are mutual then hold on tight with all your might.

 We all want to be loved by someone who adores us and although our current situation may seem a little bleak, why not work at changing your perspective?  Look on the bright side of things.  There are a lot of perks to being single. Here are MY top 10:

= You don’t have to worry about being cheated on.

= You don’t have to guess how someone feels about you.

= You can save your money.

= You don’t have to dread the healing process of having a broken heart.

= You can be yourself without excuses or reasoning.

= You can dress how you feel without trying to impress anybody.

= You don’t have to worry if their family or friends like you.

= You don’t have to deal with your significant other “Exes” or “Baby Mama Drama”.

= You don’t have to worry about your needs being met because you can meet your own needs.

= You don’t have to worry about a curfew when you hang out with friends because you’re single!

If you need someone to love, love yourself first. Although this is cliché, it’s the best advice one can give because obviously people are still depressed over being alone. You are the best candidate for being responsible for your own happiness. Don’t be so quick to think just because you’re single now that you are destined to be alone forever. You have the power to create the life you want and you must always remember that life doesn’t just happen to us, it responds to what we think and say. If you want love, search for it.

 

Be open to unlimited possibilities and believe that your significant other is out there just as anxious as you are hoping to be found. Make sure you are a happy, healthy and whole individual because when you do find love and I hope that you do, make sure you are ready for it. There is nothing more frustrating than continuing to make mistakes that bring you more heartaches then happiness. There is one thing in finding love, but another in maintaining a good relationship from an emotionally healthy state of being.

Valentine's Lookbook | Cocktails

Hey Boo’s! I hope you already found what you will be rocking on VDay, but if not I still have some inspiration for you! If you haven’t checked out my Valentine’s Lookbook just yet, here is the 2^nd look from the video titled “Cocktails”. When I was put this look together I had a young woman in mind that preferred going out for drinks over a dinner date, or maybe even for my single ladies that would be going out on Vday. 

I decided to wear the Holiday Black Label Dress by designer Z by Zevarra. I absolutely loveee her pieces and this one I HAD to get. The lace detailing, the structure, the fit, made purchasing this piece a no brainer. I paired the dress with my favorite red envelope clutch, red chained heels and red lips to give the look some Valentine’s Day flair. V-Day On A Budget: Panties & Bras

So we all want to look nice and feel sexy on Valentine’s day, well any day for that matter, but especially on Valentine’s day. But, sometimes we don’t have to the money to go out and get a full lingerie set or buy expensive lace numbers, etc. If you are on a budget, but still want to spice it up, check out Rainbow! I just happen to be going there to look for a quick top, since it’s around the corner from my house, and tripped up on this uber cute laced-detailed panty and bra set for $9.99! I was like what?! For BOTH?? So, I snatched it up with the quickness! So, how did I like it? See below for my pro’s and con’s.

Pros

= Of course, it’s super affordable

= They come in very cute designs with great attention to detail
= The underwear is breathable
= Nice last minute go-to
= Sexy and flirty
= Adds a little spice to your norm

 

Cons

= They seem to run a little small. Or maybe it’s my butt? lol. IDK? But, I bought a 3x and though I could fit it, a little more wiggle room was left to be desired. So, size up if possible.

= The quality is good, but don’t expect this to last you for years or anything.
= Not all areas have Rainbow or Citi Trends as it’s called some states. Check out their site, to see if they have a location near you.
= You can’t order their panties and bras online, unfortunately.

Overall, if you have one in your area, I would definitely recommend their panties and bras for a special night with your honey or if you just want to add variety to your already sexy collection ;)

Valentine's Lookbook | Dinner

Hey Boo's! So I am SUPER excited to announce my 2^nd Lookbook is now live on Youtube!! This is a Valentines lookbook, to give you some ideas on this special day of loveee ;) This is my first look of three. Which, I think would be perfect for an upscale dinner date. For this look I decided to pair a soft shimmer red top with a fitted black velvet midi skirt. The velvet is so soft to the touch and I feel it just gives this look romance and sexiness. I completed the look with black strapped pumps, a tribal inspired clutch - for the perfect amount of print and a fur collar - for a little extra glam.

Curvy by Nature.

Hey ladies! Today's post is all about CONFIDENCE. Not just confidence in general but curvy confidence. This super cute cheetah dress that I am rocking is from a boutique that I absolutely loveee called Curve Culture. If you remember my last year's Valentine post I wore a skin tight liquid dress from their boutique, that everybody went crazy for on Instagram. 

Well Curve Culture has a trailer that I think every woman should see. The trailer depicts a woman who is outright thirsty, no confidence and needy of attention. She meets someone that helps her realize that confidence is all in your mind. When she realized who she really was and walked in her confidence, I literally got goosebumps.
