 Hey loves, I hope that all is going well with you as April approaches. It’s crazy how fast time is going by. I promise it feels like it was just the new year, now we are almost 4 months into the year….crazy. But with that said, Spring is here and Summer is quickly approaching, so clothing may be getting a little lighter, shorter and simple as the weather changes.

I feel this outfit is the perfect transitional outfit. It is still covered but shows a little skin to incorporate the changing season. I decided to pair these faux snakeskin paneled joggers, I received from @popupplusny, with a shoulder padded textured top that I thrifted. I tied up the top, just enough, to show a slither of skin (on my Kim K tip lol). I finished off the look with lace up boots, a chunky gold watch and my favorite name plate necklace.

This kind of look totally reminds me of some old school Aaliyah or Ciara. I love how they both incorporate(d) a little tomboy swag with sexiness and femininity.

Wine, burgundy, oxblood…whatever you want to call it lol. It’s one of my FAVORITE colors of the Winter/Fall season. If you follow me on Instagram, @lacenleopard, you’ll see a picture I posted of @NadiaAboulsosn rocking an all burgundy fit that I absolutely fell in love with! But, as much as I love the color, I don’t have much of it in my closet. So, when I saw this textured shoulder padded top from the thrift store I snatched it up immediately! And for less than $2 bucks, how could I not? This day I was just going to hang out with a friend, so I kept it simple with dark blue skinnies and black heels. I finished off the look with a gold link chain and my favorite black envelope clutch from F21. Tip: Do you have an oversized top that you love but it’s too long or seems bulky? Tie it up! Tying a large top or skirt can create a better fit and add some fun & shape to your look ;) Xoxo
