So..I posted about the neon trend the other day and realized that I have NO neon pieces O.o. So I decided while getting a much needed mani & pedi yesterday, that I would go neon with my nails until I find some pieces that I like. I really like the color and how it looks against my skin. I'm definitely going to try some more shades. Here is a video on how my mani turned out. FYI, I played around with my video a little...so its on this cutesy setting that I like that shows the true color better :) I also listed a few nail color suggestions with links on where to buy them below. Last week I had the pleasure of shooting the beautiful Miss Maggie. We chose to shoot on a very lowkey day at Alamitos Bay in Long Beach, and we couldnt have made a better choice. The day was beautiful as we shared a few laughs and the things that we wanted most in life. OOTD: Life's A Beach

So I went to go get my son a haircut and had a few minutes to waste. I decided to go to this shopping center down the street in long beach that has a Ross and Fallas store. I rarely shop at Fallas but they had a few sales racks on the outside that lured me in. As soon as I walked in I saw this royal blue one-shoulder dress, perfect for spring, on the rack for $9.99! A complete outfit for under $10? Yeah...I'll take that...lol. After I got home and tried it on...I wished I got the black one too...lol. I might just have to go back. Anyhoo, I wore this out on a lunch date at the beach with my cousin and it was perfect :)

Whole Fit From The Thrift

Who can really say they've been to a ball? Right, not many. O_o. So when my friend told me that we would be going to a ball on my trip to New Orleans, you could imagine my first thought >>> What in the heck am I going to wear to a ball?!? I visited a few stores to and fro, and the number tags that I was seeing for the dresses they were attached to..just wasn't worth it in my opinion. $175, $189, $199, $250. I'm sitting here thinking...for one night? Awww naw....lol. So, I visited one of my favorite places to shop...the THRIFT...and came up! Here is my look for the night of the Zulu Ball :)
