 This was my favorite summer look because I went outside of comfort zone and wore a crop top. Usually, I shy away from showing too much skin but with this hot Atlanta weather I had to show a little skin. The crop top allowed me to show a little midriff and skater skirt was very flattering too body and booty lol. This outfit kept me very cool the day that I wore it. This summer was all about me trying out new things, such as crop tops. As a plus size woman it was refreshing to wear a crop top and feel absolutely comfortable in it.

This look is one of my favorite summer looks because I wore this while on my yearly visit to my hometown. Whenever I go home I'm around so many familiar places and people I am completely overcome with fond memories. I have a renewal and able to look forward to my future.

This is one of my favorite summer looks because it's casual, comfortable, it keeps me cool, and I can wear it anywhere. Love high-waisted shorts with a crop top and Gucci sunglasses and throw on some turquoise sandals and magenta lip stick to add some color and you're set!

Summer End Contest 2013

I thought that I was too late to continue this contest into this year, but since Fall doesn’t “officially” start until September 22^nd I thought what the heck lol. I loved sharing your looks last year and had so much fun with the contest, that it was only right to do a Summer End 2013 contest. So, on with the deets: I would like all of you lovely ladies to submit a photo of yourself rockin’ your favorite outfit of the summer! All submissions will be posted on Lace N Leopard with your social media info, so be sure to include your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Readers will have a chance to vote on their favorite look out of the submissions. The winner will be the “Lace N Leopard Feature of the Week” on my Facebook and Instagram the entire first week of Fall. Pictures will be posted and voting will be initiated Friday, September 20^th.  Readers will be able to vote all weekend and the winner will be announced the 1^st day after Fall on Monday, September 23^rd, 2013. So make sure you send your friends over to vote for you!
