Yall know I don't normally do this - but imma get long winded today lol. Oh-em-ghee! I am absolutely in loveee with this dress! I found it when desperately searching for something last minute for Curvology's Plus Prom. I literally had about a week to get my life together with no dress in sight. I knew I wanted a blush dress, so hit Instagram, Facebook, and familar sites - nothing. Then I decided to try good ole' trusty google and came across this gem from TB Dress and just about passed out from how beautiful it was! HOWEVER, I was sooooo nervous to try out the company because it was an overseas company and I didn't know if it would make it on time and, more importantly, I was really concerned about the fit and how it looked in person. I have heard and read horror stories of people receiving items that looked nothing like the picture and it running extremely small. But, after reading reviews for about 2 hours (-_-), I decided to take a chance and ordered a size up from my normal size, just in case.
Luckily, the dress shipped really fast and came a day before the prom. The dress was ah-mazing quality, beyond what I imagined. The color was on point and the style was just like the picture. I was elated! The only issue that I had was that it was extremely long. I am only 5'4 so the dress dragged the floor something serious - to where I would probably be tripping all over myself if I would have kept it the original length. It also was a little big in the bust area. Of course, this is nothing a tailor couldn't solve but I only had one day! I thank the heavens above, because I found Elizabeth Tailoring, which wasn't too far from my area. Even though she was slammed with prom dress requests, she agreed to take me and stayed up all night completing my dress. I could not thank her enough and she was the sweetest, warmest woman ever.
Needless to say, the dress was a hit! And I felt like a queen! If you are looking for a prom dress, evening dress, bride's maid dress, etc. I would definitely recommend TB Dress. You may need a couple alterations, but the quality is amazing and for the price you just can't beat it! I hope this helps someone looking for a great occasion dress on a budget. I wrote this up for yall! :)
