Hair Talk.

11.04.2013

Hey boo’s hope you all had a wonderful weekend! As for me, the weekend was great, I got a chance to catch up with some friends over food and drinks and get behind the camera after a long hiatus. Photography and fashion are my babies, but I kind of lost motivation for photography over the past months...so it was good to get back into the swing of things.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to talk a little hair talk with you ladies. I’ve been natural for several years now but I haven’t always taken the greatest care of my hair. In the recent months, I’ve been really trying to dedicate more attention to the health of my hair instead of paying attention just to how it looks. So I have been on Youtube and Google researching and trying out different hairstyles that I haven’t before. I also, cut about 2 inches of dead hair and am trying to take better care of my hairline. This was a bantu knot out that I did, not too long ago, that I got a lot of compliments on. Chile...I was channeling my inner Tracee Ellis Ross right here!!! Lol ;) As my interest increases in this area, I naturally want to get my boo’s thoughts. With that said, what are some of your hair trails and victories? Products and routines that worked for you? And are there any hair guru’s that I should be following? Please share!

Much love,
Tiff

  2. You should check out The Mane Objective and Mo Knows Hair. Between the two, you'll have products and protective styles COVERED! Kyra's Shea Medleys is a line that I've had success with as well. The products can be used in both hair and skin and don't irritate my sensitive skin or hairline like some stuff can.
